Cholesterol testing and a routine physical examination of the body are recommended for all adults at least once in every five years. Private tests can be carried out by your healthcare provider, whereas public tests may be organized in schools, community centers, churches or at your neighborhood clinics. The tests should be provided at easily accessible places and at reasonable costs. Cholesterol testing is very important for each and every one of us, especially for individuals above the age of 35.
