Natural Source to Reduce Cholesterol
There are different natural sources to reduce cholesterol. In fact, natural products are a safer  way to reduce cholesterol than most of the prescription cholesterol lowering drugs such as Zetia, Zocor and Lipitor.

Natural sources to reduce cholesterol do not usually result in the side effects of prescription drugs. Prescription based cholesterol drugs are known to cause minor side effects such as dizziness and nausea to major and horrific side effects such as liver damage and muscular degeneration.

Certain vitamins such as Vitamin A, C and E have an anti-oxidation effect and prevent the oxidation of LDL cholesterol. Niacin or Vitamin B3 is another very important anti cholesterol agent.

Other natural her based products that help reduce cholesterol are Guggulipid, green tea, fenugreek seeds and alfalfa. These natural products help in the lowering of bad cholesterol and in increasing the HDL or good cholesterol level.

These natural sources form an important part of strategies to combat cholesterol. Exercise and a change in lifestyle, quitting smoking and reducing the consumption of alcohol are equally necessary steps that have to be taken to reduce cholesterol.
