With Aerobic Exercise, Lower Your Cholesterol!

Your blood cholesterol composition depends on a variety of factors such as age, gender, diet, amount of body fat deposit in your body, lipids and carbohydrates. It also depends on other factors such as your alcohol consumption, your magnitude of smoking, menopausal status in case of women and exercising routine that you follow.

However, it is observed that the total cholesterol levels are generally lower in people having high fitness level compared to the ones with a low one. It is well known that an aerobic exercise lowers the total blood cholesterol. But the results after these exercises have been variable, leaving us with no clear consensus as to whether you should follow a moderate or vigorous exercise routine in order to practice cholesterol management.

Despite this, it has also been seen that endurance exercise generally lowers triglycerides. This low triglyceride amount in the blood have the reasons for the increase in the adipose tissue known as lipoprotein lipase, which is produced from aerobic training.

Aerobic exercise and lower cholesterol generally go hand in hand. A good physical exercise is always the best option for cholesterol management. It helps you counter obesity by lowering your total cholesterol level. A good exercise program thus may include aerobics. It is an activity that keeps your heart rate up to the mark.

It is always necessary that you do away with the bad cholesterol in your body. For this, your exercising routine should consist of at least 30 minutes of aerobic exercise which helps in maintaining proper cholesterol metabolism in your body.
